Come and relax and rejuvenate surrounded by nature in our sustainable retreat centre. Whether you are hosting a group retreat or wanting to unwind for a few days in quiet comfort, we can help ensure a memorable experience as we aim to inspire and be inspired. We are a newly opened 3ha centre 40 minutes from the Bodrum-Milas airport and set outside the village of Çiftlikköy surrounded by forested hills and olive groves. We are 350m above sea level and 40 minutes from the coast. We are looking to host all styles of retreats and events from yoga and meditation, through dance and small gatherings, to permaculture and cooking workshops, as well as catering to individuals and families. Our peaceful valley provides the ideal setting for early morning yoga and meditation enabling you to cultivate a deep connection with mother earth. Further deepen that connection as you wander through the permaculture gardens, tropical greenhouse and food forest, or relax in a hammock or by the natural pool or curl up with a book in a quiet corner of our woods. Our centre nestles on the side of a terraced south-facing slope with gorgeous views up and down the valley and across to forested hills. We have our own wells supplying all our water needs and solar panels supplying our energy, with back-up connections to the grid if needed. Accommodation for up to 25 people is in Turkish-style natural fibre yurts all with attached bathrooms. Our large yoga shala is also in the style of a yurt. There is a fully-equiped quest kitchen with attached dining areas where food mostly from our permaculture gardend will be provided during the retreats. The centre-piece of the property is our gorgeous natural swimming pool with plenty ofshaded areas to lounge around under and with a circular performance area at one end and a rocket-stove sauna at the other for those colder evenings. The surrounding countryside is great for short or long walks or more adventurous hikes. And of course we are open in-between retreats for individuals, couples or families looking for a quiet getaway surounded by nature. Come and enjoy!
Hi everyone! We have been creating Nefes Vadisi since we moved to the Bodrum peninsular in 2019, having spent the previous 32 years abroad, the last 20 being in Bali, Indonesia. Between us we have been diving instructors, meditation teachers, English teachers and teacher trainers, fashion designers, fire dancers, permaculture teachers and acupuncturists. Our interests range from yoga to Tai Chi, from holistic self-help to ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine and western herbalism, and from making music to dancing, dancing, dancing! It has always been our desire to pass on the knowledge and experience we have gained over the years to others as well learning from our guests and visitors, and this was one of our major motivations behind opening this retreat centre.
We had the gorgeous opportunity to spend few weeks at Nefesvadisi and the time there was really fulfilling.
The complicity and love between John and Asli it reflects all over the place creating an harmonious environment both outside in the garden so full of different plants and colours and in the inside spaces tastefully furnished.
At Nefesvadisi, helping with some gardening tasks means a wonderful journey inside organic ways of growing food. Their passion for plants and the natural world has led us to discover many different species used in ayurveda, homeopathic and natural medicine.
We really enjoyed the yoga shala, a calm, big space well equipped with mats, pillows and so where we could release any tensions and just consciously focus on our well being.
The food was healthy and balanced, mostly from the garden or locally sourced, always made with care and attention.
The location is peaceful with a green mountain facing the land but still not too far from the village where you can access public transport and different services.
We are very grateful for every moment spent at Nefesvadisi.
